Making Money With Cashcrate

I became interested in online surveys when a colleague told me about what can be done online with both paid surveys and survey portals. As a freelance writer, I found it an easy task to research, write articles, and drive traffic to my site. I was aware that just taking online surveys would not make me rich, so I proceeded to find out just how to go about making a decent online income from the survey sites available at this time. Knowing the great number of sites that are presented as a web presence, I begin my journey with a list, and a willingness to do a little work

I had seen a lot of emails promoting survey sites, and have participated in several online surveys. One of the things I knew for sure - that a ton of hard work was involved in boosting my income.

Soon afterward, a colleague recommended cashcrate.com. I visited the site, read through their offer and terms of service, and signed up. Cashcrate asked for my name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. The site confirmed my email address by a follow up email and a link to their confirmation page. The process was simple, and I begin to explore the site.

I felt that one of the best things about cashcrate.com was that I could choose which surveys in which to participate. The site features a pull-down menu for easy navigation, and I could choose to do only the surveys that are 100% free. There was no "catch" to these surveys at all. Cashcrate tells you exactly how much information you need to provide in order to get paid.

The pay for each survey is not large - most of them pay 50 cents to one dollar. What is great though is that only takes about 5 minutes to complete a survey. Within one hour, I made $12. Spending a couple of hours a week doing this will pay my web hosting fees.

Taking any online surveys has its own caveats. Always make sure you read the "fine print" in some of the surveys. Often, there are "free" gifts associated with many of the surveys. Many times you are directed to different websites. Some of the "free" gifts, although not elaborate, had a catch. These sites wanted you to try a product for a certain amount of time, and after that period you were allowed to cancel. The catch is your phone number can be billed for the product.

Whenever you are doing online surveys, be absolutely sure to watch your phone bill. People in the know do not give out their credit card information online, but do not take the time to read the "fine print." I don't know about you, but I surely don't want to spend an entire day making $30 only to have a good portion of that added on to my phone bill!

Absolutely do not give out your credit card information to any online survey site. Make sure that the website is honest first. Be positive that you won't be billed for any unnecessary charges. Remember, the whole point of doing surveys online is to give your own opinion and in the process make a little money. The whole process is about making a little cash.

Be sure to always use your correct contact information. Many of these companies will call you to be sure that you have given them the correct phone number. If telephone solicitors make you crazy, then possibly this is not the project for you. Remember, there is no obligation to listen. It is a part of doing business, so take it in hand.

Two days of filling out surveys on cashcrate made me over $30. They pay once a month by check, and checks are mailed out on the 15th every month. This is a great way to make a few extra dollars, and is only one of many paid survey companies online.

The really great thing about online surveys is that there is no limit of what you can do. There are several survey companies in just about any area. You sign up with them and on a regular basis you are called to test a product. These tests often last about an hour and you can make about $50. Although a good way to pick up extra cash, the down side is this - you can only participate in a survey every six months for each company.

You won't make as much money as these local surveys, but with online surveys you can participate as often as you like. Use some patience, exercise a little caution, and be prepared to receive an influx of telephone calls from solicitors.

I enjoyed using Cashcrate the best of any online surveys I have tried. It's easy, fun and doesn't take up all of your time. It is a great way of making a few bucks from home. You can even work in your jammies!
